And then he expressed his scorn for Barack Obama in an interview with John Dickerson of NBC.

John Dickerson: Did President Obama give you any advice that was helpful?

Trump: well, he was very nice to me but after that we’ve had some difficulties, so..it doesn’t matter, you know, words are less important to me than deeds.

Dickerson: What does that mean?

Trump: you can figure that out yourself

Dickerson: The reason I ask... you called him sick and bad.

Trump: Look, you can figure it out yourself. He was very nice to me with words...and when I was with him, but afterwards there has been no relationship.

Dickerson: do you stand by that claim?

Trump: I don't stand by anything. You can take it the way you want. I think our side has been proven very strongly, and everybody is talking about it. Frankly, it should be discussed. I think that is a very big...surveillance... of our citizens. I think that is a very big topic. And it is a topic that should be number one. And we should find out what the hell is going on.

Dickerson: I just wanted to find out...you are the president of the United States. You said he was sick and bad, because he had tapped...

Trump: you can take it any way you want.

Dickerson: I want to know your opinion. You are the president of the United States...you don't want fake news.

Trump: that is enough. Thank you....(going to his desk) Thank you very much.

“Trump seems not to understand or know history” said Doris Kearns Goodwin

Senator John McCain said in an interview on Morning Joe that he thinks “all presidents grow on the job, they learn.” Most of this took place in 48 hours. If Trump wants to know what to do he should read the new book by Brinkley on JFK.
